Locally acting:
The BPS Green School operates in a rural, natural setting between Terény and Szanda, offering a child-centered, experiential, and eco-conscious educational program. Its operations are funded by parental contributions and revenue from the building used as lodging (Mulcsosház). Its goals include embedding environmental and social values in the local community, fostering cooperation, and launching professional workshops, camps, and community programs. Through the sustainable operation of Mulcsosház, it aims to achieve long-term stability.
Doubleable programme:
The overall goal of the campaign is to create a community educational garden that serves as a regularly used educational space to address the lack of nature experiences among children. The garden provides a tangible platform for collaboration between the Szandai Pitypang Preschool, the Budapest School Terény Green School—maintained by the Galambház Public Benefit Association—and the local community. By building on joint action and community fundraising, the project strengthens the institutions’ local roots, acceptance, and long-term sustainability.
