About us:
The Nationalities Association was established in 2000 in Szeged. It currently brings together nine nationality self-governments and eleven nationality civil society organizations from the city. The Association’s mission is to represent and promote the cultures of Szeged’s national minority communities and to support their advocacy efforts.

Project Description:
The project aims to strengthen the Nationalities Association’s volunteer base, support its member communities, activate existing nationality communities, and recruit new volunteers. It will contribute to the Association’s long-term, intergenerational sustainability, while helping preserve local nationality communities and strengthen their cultural identity.
The project is based on the involvement of volunteers who, through their own nationality heritage, actively contribute to preserving cultural traditions, promoting rights and interests, and supporting the Association’s day-to-day activities.
